રિયાની બીજી ફિલ્મ ‘ખૂબસૂરત’ 2014માં રિલીઝ થઈ હતી, જેમાં સોનમ કપૂર અને પાકિસ્તાની એક્ટર ફવાદ ખાન મુખ્ય રોલમાં હતાં. આ ફિલ્મ પણ બોક્સ ઓફિસ પર કંઈ ખાસ ચાલી નહીં. જોકે આ ફિલ્મ રિયાના કરિયર માટે ફાયદાકારક રહી.
ત્યારબાદ રિયાએ ‘વીરે દી વેડિંગ’ ફિલ્મ પ્રોડ્યૂસ કરી. ફિલ્મમાં કરીના કપૂર, સોનમ કપૂર, સ્વરા ભાસ્કર અને શિખા તલસાનિયાનાં કામનાં બહુ વખાણ થયાં. બોલ્ડ કન્ટેન્ટના કારણે ફિલ્મમાં વિવાદોમાં પણ રહી. જોકે, બોક્સ ઓફિસ પર હિટ સાબિત થઈ.
