ગુજરાતના અનેક વિસ્તારોમાં છેલ્લા કેટલાય દિવસોથી કાળઝાળ ગરમીનો અહેસાસ થઈ રહ્યો છે. વરસાદ ન પડતાં હાલ ગુજરાતના અનેક વિસ્તારોમાં દુષ્કાળ જેવી સ્થિતિ સર્જાઈ હોય તેવું લાગી રહ્યું છે જોકે આજે ગુજરાતના ઘણાં વિસ્તારોમાં વરસાદી ઝાપટાં જોવા મળ્યાં હતાં જેને કારણે ખેડૂતો વરસાદની આશા જાગી છે. તહેવારોની વચ્ચે ખેડૂતો માટે ખુશીના સમાચાર આવ્યા છે. બંગાળની ખાડીમાં એક સિસ્ટમ સક્રિય થઈ રહ્યું છે જેને લઈને ગુજરાત ફરી ચોમાસું એકવાર સક્રિય થયું છે. ત્યારે હવામાન વિભાગે ફરી એકવાર વરસાદને લઈને આગાહી કરી છે કે, આગામી ત્રણ દિવસ વરસાદ પડશે તેવી આગાહી કરવામાં આવી છે.
હવામાન વિભાગની આગાહી પ્રમાણે, આજે ગુજરાતના અનેક વિસ્તારોમાં વરસાદી વાતાવરણ જોવા મળ્યું હતું જેને લઈને ખેડૂતોને થોડી આશા જીવંત રહી છે. ઘણાં વિસ્તારોમાં છુટોછવાયો તો ઘણાં વિસ્તારોમાં મધ્યમ વરસાદ ખાબક્યો હતો. જોકે 30 તારીખે એટલે જન્માષ્ટમીના દિવસે જ પંચમહાલ, દાહોદ, છોટાઉદેપુર, ડાંગ, તાપી, નવસારી અને વલસાડમાં ભારે વરસાદના સંજોગો જોવા મળી રહ્યાં છે. મહત્વની વાત એ છે કે, અંબાલાલ પટેલે આ પહેલા જ કહ્યું હતું કે, સપ્ટેમ્બરનું પહેલું અઠવાડિયું ભારે વરસાદ તુટી પડશે.
31 ઓગસ્ટે ગુજરાતના આણંદ અને ભરૂચમાં અતિ ભારે વરસાદની આગાહી કરવામાં આવી છે. આ ઉપરાંત ખેડા, વડોદરા, નર્મદા, સુરત, ડાંગ, તાપી, નવસારી, વલસાડ, રાજકોટ, અમરેલી, ભાવનગર અને ગીર સોમનાથમાં ભારે વરસાદનાં સંજોગો જોવા મળી રહ્યાં છે.
મહત્વની વાત એ છે કે, 1 સપ્ટેમ્બરે ગુજરાતના ભાવનગર, નર્મદા, ભરૂચ સુરત, તાપી રાજકોટ, ડાંગ, નવસારી, વલસાડ, અમરેલી અને ગીર સોમનાથમાં ભારે વરસાદ પડે તેવી સંભાવના છે. અત્યાર સુધી ગુજરાતમાં વરસાદની અછત 49 ટકા છે જ્યારે સરેરાશ 41.8 ટકા વરસાદ નોંધાયો છે. જેમાં સૌથી વધુ દક્ષિણ ગુજરાતમાં 51.5 ટકા વરસાદ નોંધાયો છે.
સૌથી મહત્વની વાત એ છે કે, અંબાલાલ પટેલે જણાવ્યું હતું કે, રવિવાર સુધીમાં બંગાળની ખાડીમાં લો પ્રેશર સર્જાશે અને તૈયાર પણ થઈ જશે. જેને લઈને 30 અને 31 ઓગસ્ટે ગુજરાતમાં છૂટ્ટો છવાયો વરસાદ જોવા મળી શકશે જ્યારે ઘણાં વિસ્તારોમાં વરસાદ ઝાપટાં પણ જોવા મળશે.
અંબાલાલ પટેલના મતે, 3થી 10 સપ્ટેમ્બરની વચ્ચે ગુજરાતના અનેક વિસ્તારોમાં ધોધમાર વરસાદ વરસે તેવી પુરેપુરી શક્યતા છે. આગાહીના મોટા સમાચાર ખેડૂતો માટે મોટી રાહત લઈ આવશે. આ સાત દિવસ દરમિયાન રાજ્યમાં જો નોંધપાત્ર વરસાદ ન વરસે તો ગુજરાતમાં પાણીની અછત સર્જાય તેવી શક્યતા છે.
