સુકમા, છત્તીસગઢઃ ભાવુક કરી દેતું આ દ્રશ્ય સુકમાના મિની સ્ટેડિયમનું છે. અહીં યુવા જાગૃતિ ક્લબની ફુટબૉલ ટીમ કોઈ મેચ હાર્યાં બાદ નહોતી રડી રહી, પરંતુ પોતાના સાથીને હંમેશા માટે ગુમાવીને દુઃખી હતી. સાથી ખેલાડીની અંતિમ ઈચ્છા પુરી કરવા માટે તેની અર્થીને સ્ટેડિયમમાં લાવવામાં આવી હતી.
અંતિમયાત્રાની સાથે સ્ટેડિયમમાં ફર્યા બાદ જ્યારે તેના મૃતદેહને કેટલાક સમય માટે મેદાનમાં રાખ્યો તો, તમામ ખેલાડીઓ ધ્રુસકે ધ્રુસકે રડી પડ્યા. જણાવી દઈએ કે સમ્રાટ નગરમાં રહેતા દિલીપ ખલખો(42)ને બ્લડ કેન્સર હતું. તેણે રવિવારે રાત્રે લગભગ 11.30 વાગ્યે જિલ્લાની હૉસ્પિટલમાં અંતિમ શ્વાસ લીધા.
દિલીપના મિત્રો જણાવે છે કે બીમારીના દિવસોમાં પણ તે સ્ટેડિયમ જવાની ઈચ્છા રાખતો હતો. જો કે જીવતેજીવ તેની આ ઈચ્છા પૂરી થઈ શકી નહોતી. એટલે તે લોકો તેના મૃતદેહને લઈને સ્ટેડિયમ આવ્યા. મૃતક બાળપણથી જ આ સ્ટેડિયમમાં ફુટબૉલ રમતા હતો.
ગયા મહિને પેટમાં દુખાવાની ફરિયાદ સાથે દિલીપને ભિલાઈ ઈલાજ માટે લઈ જવામાં આવ્યા હતા. તકલીફ વધતા તેને હૈદરાબાદ રેફર કરવામાં આવ્યો. જ્યાં તપાસ બાદ ડૉક્ટરે તેને બ્લડ કેન્સર હોવાનું કહ્યું હતું. તેના ઈલાજ માટે તમામ મિત્રોએ મદદ પણ કરી હતી.
જો કે દિલીપનું શરીર નબળું હોવાના કારણે ડૉક્ટરે કીમોથેરાપી અને રેડિએશન આપવાની ના પાડી દીધી હતી. 27 ફેબ્રુઆરીએ તેને ડિસ્ચાર્જ કરી દેવામાં આવ્યો હતો. કદાચ તેને અંદાજ આવી ગયો હતો કે હવે તેના જીવનના કેટલાક દિવસો જ બાકી છે.
દિલીપના પિતા પણ 8 મહિના પહેલા કેન્સરના કારણે જ મૃત્યુ પામ્યા હતા. આ પરિવાર મૂળ જશપુર જિલ્લાના કુનકરી બાસબહારમાં રહેતો હતો. દિલીપના પરિવારમાં માતાની સાથે ત્રણ મોટી બહેનો, પત્ની અને દોઢ વર્ષની બાળકી છે. ખેલાડીઓએ મિની સ્ટેડિયમનું નામ ડીકે સ્ટેડિયમ કરવાની માંગ કરી છે.
