One Gujarat, Surendranagar: ધ્રાંગધ્રાના ગાંજણવાવ ગામના પ્રગતીશીલ ખેડૂતે પાંચ એકર માં સક્કરટેટી અને તરબુચની સફળ ખેતી કરી છે. જેમાં આધુનીક કૃષિપધ્ધતી અને સરકારી યોજનાનો લાભ લઇ ખેડૂત પાંચ ગણી આવક મેળવી રહ્યા છે.
સુરેન્દ્રનગર જિલ્લાના ખેડૂતો પારંપરીક ખેતીથી આગળ વધી આધુનીક ખેતી તરફ વળી કૃષીક્ષેત્રે નવા સોપાનસર કરી રહ્યા છે. ત્યારે પથ્થરોની ધરાતરીકે ઓળખાતા ધ્રાંગધ્રા પંથકના ધરતીપુત્રએ પોતાની મહેનત અને કૃષિ તજજ્ઞોના માર્ગદર્શન સાથે આધુનીકકૃષી અપનાવી છે. ત્યારે આવીજ એક સાફલ્યગાથા ગાંજણવાવના કૃષી ઋષી મહેન્દ્રભાઇ પટેલે તેમની પારંપરાગત ખેતી છોડી પાંચ એકરના ખેતરમાં રવિપાક તરીકે સક્કર ટેટી અને તરબુચની ખેતી કરી છે.
આ અંગે મહેન્દ્રભાઇ પટેલે જણાવ્યુ કે કપાસ, એરંડા, ઘઉં,જીરા અમોની પારંપરીક ખેતીના ભાગ હતા પણ વર્ષ દરમિયાન અથાગ મહેનત બા પણ સંતોષકારક વળતર મળતુ ન હતુ. સમાચાર પત્રો અને સામયીકોના વાંચનનો શોખ હોવાથી સફળ ખેડૂતોની સાફલ્ય ગાથાથી પ્રેરીત થઇ પરંપરાગત ખેતીના સ્થાને આધુનિક ખેતી તરફ વળવા સાહસીક વિચાર કરી આ સક્કર ટેટી અને તરબુચની ખેતી કરી છે. આ ખેતી 70 દિવસના સમયગાળામાં પૂર્ણ થઇ જાય છે અને અન્યની પાકની સરખામણીએ ભાવ અને ઉત્પાદન પણ વધારે મળે છે.
તેમજ અન્ય પાકોની સરખામણીએ ઓછી ઉપજવાળી જમીનમાં પણ સારૂં ઉત્પાદન મળતું હોય છે. આથી પહેલા રવિ સીઝન દરમિયાન પાંચ એકરમાં જીરાના વાવેતરથી આશરે બેથી અઢીલાખની આવકથતી તેની સામે આ ખેતીમાં અંદાજે 12 થી 15લાખની આવક મળશે.
આ અંગે જિલ્લા બાગાયત અધિકારી સચિન શેઠે જણાવ્યુ કે જિલ્લાના ખેડૂતો ધીરે ધીરે બાગાયત ખેતીતરફ વળતા સરકાર આવા ખેડૂતોને પ્રોત્સાહન આપવા આર્થિક રીતે મદદરૂપ થવા યોજના અમલી કરી છે. જેમાં ખેડૂતોને ગ્રોકવર માટે હેક્ટર દિઠ 21હજાર અને મલ્ચિંગ માટે 16 હજારની સબસીડી અપાય છે.
ગાજણવાવના ખેડૂતે સક્કર ટેટી અને તરબુચની ખેતીમાં રેઇઝ બેડ, મલ્ચિંગ, ગ્રોકવર સાથે ટપક સિચાઇનો ઉપયોગ કર્યો.જેનુ સારૂ પરિણામ મળતા ઉચ્ચ ગુણવત્તા વાળી સક્કર ટેટી અને તરબૂચ થયા સામાન્ય ટેટીનું વજન 700થી 800 ગ્રામ હોય છે. જયારે ખેતરની ટેટીનું વજન દોઢ કિલો સુધીનું જોવા મળ્યુ છે. જેથી અન્ય ધરતીપુત્રોને આધુનિક ખેતી અપનાવવા રાહ ચીંધી હતી.
