હરિયાણાના બહાદુરગઢની રહેવાસી પ્રીતિ હુડ્ડાએ હિન્દીમાં એમફીલ કર્યા પછી પેપર અને ઇન્ટરવ્યૂ આપીને UPSCની પરીક્ષા પાસ કરી લીધી છે. આ પછી તેની IAS માટે પસંદગી થઈ છે. પ્રીતિના પિતા દિલ્હી પરિવહન નિગમમાં બસ ચલાવે છે. પ્રીતિ જ્યારે તેમના પિતાને IAS બનવાની જાણ કરી હતી તે સમયે તેઓ બસ ચલાવતાં હતાં.
પ્રીતિએ JNUમાંથી કરી છે સ્ટડી
પ્રીતિ હુડ્ડાએ દસમામાં 77% અને 12માં 87% માર્ક મેળવ્યા હતાં. આ પછી તેમણે દિલ્હીની લક્ષ્મીબાઇ કોલેજથી હિન્દીમાં ગ્રેજ્યુએશન કર્યું હતું. જેમાં તેમણે 76% માર્ક મેળવ્યા હતાં. આ પછી તેમણે JNUમાં હિન્દીમાં એમ ફીલ અને Phd કર્યું હતું.
એમફી પછી શરૂ કરી UPSCની તૈયારી
એક ઇન્ટરવ્યૂમાં વાત કરતી વખતે પ્રીતિ હુડ્ડાએ જણાવ્યું કે, ‘બાળપણમાં ક્યારેય વિચાર્યું નહોતું કે, સિવિલ સેવાની તૈયારી કરીશ. હું પોતાના પરિવારમાં સૌથી વધારે સ્ટડી કરનારી છોકરી છું.’ તેમણે વધુમાં કહ્યું કે, ‘પપ્પાનું સપનું હતું કે, હું IAS બનું. જ્યારે હું JNUમાં આવી ત્યારે ખબર પડી કે, તૈયારી કેવી રીતે કરી શકાય અને એમફીલ કર્યા પછી મેં તેની તૈયારી શરૂ કરી હતી.’
તૈયારી વખતે ફિલ્મો જોઈ અને ખૂબ જ મસ્તી કરી
UPSCની તૈયારી અંગે પ્રીતિ હુડ્ડાએ જણાવ્યું કે, ‘સતત 10 કલાકની તૈયારી કર્યા પછી થોડોક સમય દિશા નક્કી કરીને સ્ટડી કરવી જરૂરી છે. તૈયારીની સાથે-સાથે મસ્તી પણ જરૂરી છે. તૈયારી કરતી વખતે ફિલ્મો પણ જોવી જરૂરી છે. કોન્ફિડન્સ સાથે ધીરે-ધીરે સિલિબસને પુરો કરવો અને બધા પુસ્તકો વાંચવાની જગ્યાએ સીમિત સ્ટડી કરવી, પણ સાથે સાથે વારંવાર અભ્યાસ કરવો જરૂરી છે.’
બસ ચલાવતાં પિતાને મળી દીકરીની IAS બનવાની ખબર
પ્રીતિ હુડ્ડાએ જણાવ્યું કે,’ મારું જ્યારે UPSCનું રિઝલ્ટ આવ્યું ત્યારે મેં પપ્પાને ફોન કર્યો અને તે સમયે તેઓ ડીટીસી બસ ચલાવી રહ્યા હતાં. આ સમાચાર સાંભળી મારા પપ્પા ખૂબ જ ખુશ થઈ ગયાં હતાં. પપ્પા ક્યારેય મારી સામે મારા વખાણ કરતાં નથી. પણ તે દિવસે તેમણે પહેલીવાર મારી સામે મારા વખાણ કર્યા હતાં અને કીધું હતું કે, શાબાશ મારા દીકરા, હું ખૂબ જ ખુશ છું.’
