ગોરખપુરઃ દીકરાના હત્યારાને મારવાનું વચન લેનાર એક માતા દરરોજ સાંજે પુત્રની કબર પર દીવો પ્રગટાવે છે. માતાએ દીકરાને ગુમાવ્યા બાદ કાળજા પર પથ્થર રાખ્યો અને બદલો લેવાની ભાવના સાથે જીવી રહી છે. દીકરાની કબર પર દીવો પ્રગટાવવાની સાથે દીકરાની કબરે સવાર-સાંજ ભોજન મૂકવાનું ભૂલતી નથી.
વાસ્તવમાં યુપીના ગોરખપુરના બ્રમ્હપુર ગામમાં રહેતા વિજયી અને તેમની પત્ની કલાવતી બદલાની ભાવના સાથે 13 વર્ષથી જીવી રહ્યાં છે. 13 વર્ષ અગાઉ તેમના દીકરાની જમીન વિવાદમાં ગોળી મારી હત્યા કરવામા આવી હતી. જે પછી તેમણે દીકરાના અંતિમ સંસ્કાર કરવાને બદલે તેને ખેતરમાં દફન કરાવ્યો. તેમણે કહ્યું કે,‘દીકરાને ત્યાંસુધી મુખાગ્નિ નહીં આપીએ, જ્યાંસુધી તેના હત્યારાને મારી ના નાખીએ.’
વિજયી અને તેમનો પરિવાર વર્ષોથી જમીનદારોની જમીનની દેખરેખ રાખવાની સાથે ખેતી કામમાં પણ જોડાયેલા રેહતા હતા. આ જ કારણે અમુક જમીનદારો વિજયી અને તેના પરિવારને જમીનનો એક ટુકડો ગુજરાન ચલાવવા માટે આપ્યો હતો. આ વાત ગામના એક દબંગ પોલીસકર્મીને ના ગમી. તે જમીન પર કબજો કરવાના પ્રયાસમાં હતા. બંને પરિવાર વચ્ચે 2-3 વખત મારામારી પણ થઈ અને પછી સમાધાન કરવામા આવ્યું.
વિજયી પોતાની પત્ની કલાવતી, દીકરા રાજૂ, રાજ કુમાર, રાજા, સાજન અને દીકરી મમતા સાથે દિલ્હીમાં રહેતો હતો. તે એક ફેક્ટ્રીમાં ચીફ વર્કર હતો. તેઓ ખેતીની સિઝનમાં ગામ આવતા અને વાવણી-લણણીનું કામ કરી પરત ફરતા હતા. આ જ કામ માટે રાજા (20 વર્ષ) 2005માં ઘરે આવ્યો હતો. તે સમયે ગામમાં તેની માતા અને બહેન પણ હતા. આ સમયે રાજા અને દબંગ પોલીસકર્મી વચ્ચે બોલાચાલી થઈ હતી. તેણે રાજાને વાવણી ના કરવા ધમકી આપી હતી.
જોકે રાજા ના માન્યો. 7 જુલાઈ 2005ના રોજ સવારે રાજા ખેતરમાં હતો અને વરસાદ પડી રહ્યો હતો. દબંગ પોલીસકર્મી છત્રી લઈ ત્યાં આવ્યો અને રાજાને ગોળી મારી તેની હત્યા કરી. રાજાની માતા-બહેન પહોંચે તે પહેલા જ તેનું મોત થયું હતું. હત્યા બાદ આરોપી દબંગ પોલીસકર્મી ફરાર થયો હતો. પોલીસે તેની વિરુદ્ધ ફરિયાદ નોંધી તપાસ હાથ ધરી હતી. લગભગ 1 મહિના બાદ પોલીસે આરોપીને તેના ઘરેથી પકડ્યો હતો.
જોકે તે કસ્ટડીમાંથી ફરાર થઈ ગયો હતો. આરોપી પોલીસકર્મીની 3 વર્ષ બાદ ફરી લુધિયાણાથી ધરપકડ કરવામા આવી હતી. તેને કોર્ટે આજીવન કેદની સજા ફટકારી હતી અને તે ગોરખપુર જેલમાં સજા ભોગવી રહ્યો છે.
જોકે આરોપીને આજીવન કેદની સજા મળી તેનાથી પીડિતના માતા-પિતા ખુશ નથી. કલાવતીએ કહ્યું કે, કાં તો આરોપીને જેલમાં જ ફાસીની સજા આપવામા આવે કાં તો તે બહાર આવશે ત્યારે તે પોતે તેની હત્યા કરશે. તે પછી જ પોતાના દીકરાના અંતિમ સંસ્કાર કરશે.
