દિલ્હીઃ રાજધાની દિલ્હીમાં રહેતી સગીરા યુવતી બાજુમાં રહેતા યુવકના પ્રેમમાં પડે છે. બંને વચ્ચે શરૂઆતમાં ઈશારામાં વાત થાય છે. ત્યારબાદ યુવક પ્રેમના સોગન આપીને સગીરા પ્રેમિકા સાથે શારીરિક સંબંધો બાંધ્યા હતા. ત્યારબાદ યુવકને સેક્સની આદત પડી ગઈ હતી. તે વારંવાર સગીરા સાથે રિલેશન બાંધતો હતો. અચાનક જ એક દિવસ સગીરા ગર્ભવતી થાય છે અને પછી યુવક છોડીને જતો રહ્યો છે. હવે યુવતી પાસે તે યુવકની કોઈ માહિતી, કોન્ટેક્ટ નંબર, પરિવારની માહિતી કંઈ જ હોતું નથી. તેને એ વાતનો અહેસાસ થાય છે કે તેની સાથે વિશ્વાસઘાત કરવામાં આવ્યો છે. ત્યારબાદ સગીરા પોલીસ પાસે જાય છે અને યુવક પર રેપનો કેસ નોંધાવે છે.
મહિલા પોલીસની કામગીરીઃ આ આખી ઘટનામાં જો સૌથી રસપ્રદ વાત હોય તો એ છે કે મહિલા પોલીસ અધિકારીએ આ યુવકને જે રીતે પકડ્યો તે છે. આ મહિલા પોલીસે પહેલાં ફેસબુક પર યુવક સાથે મિત્રતા કરી હતી અને પછી તેને પકડ્યો હતો. મહિલા પોલીસની સમજદારી પર અન્ય રાજ્યોની પોલીસે પ્રેરણા લેવી જોઈએ.
મહિલા પોલીસે સો.મીડિયાની મદદ લીધીઃ સગીરા પર બળાત્કાર કરનાર 24 વર્ષીય યુવક સાથે એસઆઈએ મિત્રતા કરી હતી. પીડિતાએ કહ્યું હતું કે યુવકે ક્યારેય તેને કોઈ નંબર આપ્યો નહોતો. તેમની વચ્ચે શારીરિક સંબંધો અનેકવાર બંધાયા હતા. તેને યુવકના પરિવાર અંગે પણ કોઈ માહિતી નહોતી. કોઈ જ માહિતી વગર યુવકને શોધવો પોલીસ માટે ઘણું જ મુશ્કેલ હતું.
પોલીસે નવું અકાઉન્ટ બનાવ્યુંઃ પીડિતાએ એટલું જ કહ્યું હતું કે તે યુવકનું નામ આકાશ હતું. એસઆઈ પ્રિયંકાએ ફેસબુક પર નવા નામથી અકાઉન્ટ બનાવ્યું હતું અને પ્રોફાઇલ પિકમાં રેન્ડમ કોઈ સુંદર યુવતીનો ફોટો મૂક્યો હતો. તેણે આકાશ નામના લોકોને રેન્ડમ ફ્રેન્ડ રિક્વેસ્ટ મોકલી હતી, તેમાંથી ઘણાંને મેસેજ પણ કર્યા હતા. જોકે, માત્ર એક જ વ્યક્તિએ જવાબ આપ્યો હતો. પીડિત યુવતીએ જે રીતે યુવકનું વિવરણ કર્યું હતું, તે પ્રમાણે આ વ્યક્તિ મેચ કરતો હતો. ત્યારબાદ પ્રિયંકાએ તે આકાશ નામની વ્યક્તિ સાથે નંબરની આપલે કરી હતી.
મંદિરે મળવા બોલાવ્યોઃ પ્રિયંકાએ આકાશાને દિલ્હીના શ્રીમાતા મંદિર મળવા બોલાવ્યો હતો. અહીંયા પોલીસે પકડી લીધો હતો. તેને કોર્ટમાં રજૂ કરવામાં આવ્યો હતો.
મહિલા પોલીસના વખાણઃ આ આખા કેસમાં દિલ્હીની એસઆઈ પ્રિયંકા સૈનીના વખાણ થઈ રહ્યાં છે. પોલીસે સ્માર્ટ બનીને આરોપીને પકડ્યો છે.
