રાયસેનઃ મધ્યપ્રદેશમાં રાયસેનના પ્રાચીન કિલ્લા પર ઓમની અદ્દભૂત તસવીર જોવા મળી હતી. રાયસેનના ઊંચા પર્વત પર 28 મેના રોજ અદ્દભૂત ઘટના બની હતી. મુખ્યમંત્રી શિવરાજ સિંહ ચૌહાણ રાયસેનના સ્થાનિક દશેરા મેદાનમાં પોતાના હેલિકોપ્ટરમાંથી ઉતર્યા ત્યારે જર્નલિસ્ટે લીધેલી એક તસવીરમાં રાયસેનના પ્રાચીન કિલ્લા પર ઓમ લખેલું દેખાઈ આવ્યું હતું.
સો.મીડિયામાં જ્યારે આ તસવીર વાઈરલ થઈ તો ભક્તોએ દાયકાઓથી બંધ પડેલા સોમેશ્વર ધામ શિવ મંદિરના દ્વાર ખોલવાની માગણી કરી હતી.
માનવામાં આવે છે કે ઝાડના આકસ્મિક સ્વરૂપ પરિવર્તનને કારણે ઓમકાર દેખાયું હતું. આ અંગે પૂર્વ કેબિનેટ મંત્રી ડો. ગૌરી શંકર શેઝવારના પુત્ર મુદિત શેઝવાર સાથે વાત કરવામાં આવી હતી. તેમણે કહ્યું હતું કે તેમણે પણ આ તસવીર સો.મીડિયામાં શૅર કરી છે.
મુદિતે કહ્યું હતું કે રાયસેન પર્વત પર બનેલા કિલ્લા સ્થિત સોમેશ્વેર ધામનું મંદિર પ્રાચીન તથા પુરાતત્વ કળાનું છે. આ મંદિરમાં જે પણ શિવલિંગ છે, તે પુરાતત્વની દૃષ્ટિથી મહત્વના છે.
આ મંદિરમાં પહેલાં કેટલાંક વિવાદ તથા પુરાતત્વ વિભાગના ટેક્નિકલ કારણોસર મંદિર લાંબા સમય સુધી બંધ કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું. ભૂતકાળમાં આંદોલન કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું અને હવે તે માત્ર શિવરાત્રિના દિવસે એમ એક જ દિવસ ખુલે છે.
મુદિતના મતે, આ મંદિર અનેક ભક્તોનું આસ્થાનું કેન્દ્ર છે. રાયસેનાના મોટાભાગના લોકો ઈચ્છે છે કે મંદિર હંમેશાં ખુલ્લું રહે.
ઉલ્લેખનીય છે કે અનેકવાર સોમેશ્વર મંદિરને રોજ ખોલવાની માગણી કરવામાં આવી છે. જોકે, પુરાતત્વ વિભાગે આ માગણી નકારી કાઢી છે.1971થી દર વર્ષે માત્ર શિવરાત્રિના દિવસે આ મંદિર ખોલવામાં આવે છે.
