અમદાવાદઃ યુનિયન પબ્લિક સર્વિસ કમિશનની (UPSC) મુખ્ય પરીક્ષા પૂર્ણ થયા બાદ તમામ પરીક્ષાર્થીઓ રિઝલ્ટની કાગડોળે રાહ જોતા હોય છે. મેઈન એક્ઝામ પાસ કર્યાં બાદ ઈન્ટરવ્યૂ લેવામાં આવે છે. ઈન્ટરવ્યૂમાં અઘરા સવાલો પૂછવામાં આવે છે તો ઘણીવાર એવા સવાલ પણ પૂછવામાં આવે છે કે સ્પર્ધકોને તેની આશા પણ હોતી નથી. આજે એક આવા જ ઈન્ટરવ્યૂ અંગે વાત કરીશું.
2017મા 568મો રેંક લાવનાર વિકાસ મીણાનું સિલેક્શન ઈન્ટરવ્યૂ માટે થયું હતું. ઈન્ટરવ્યૂમાં તેમને અનેક સવાલ પૂછવામાં આવ્યા હતાં પરંતુ કેટલાંક સવાલો અંગે તેમણે સપનામાં પણ વિચાર્યું નહોતું. તેમને પૂછવામાં આવ્યું હતું કે 10-12મા તથા કોલેજમાં તમારે સારા માર્ક્સ આવ્યા તો તમને નથી લાગતું કે તમે તમારું નાનપણ ગુમાવી દીધું. તમે નાનપણમાં અભ્યાસ જ કર્યો. એવું લાગ્યું કે તમારા પેરેન્ટ્સ આઈએએસ છોડનો ઉછેર કરી રહ્યાં છે. આના પર વિકાસે કહ્યું હતું કે તેને નાનપણ ગુમાવ્યું નથી પરંતુ ઘણું બધું શીખવા મળ્યું છે.
એક અધિકારીએ સવાલ કર્યો હતો કે તમે નાનપણથી જ હોંશિયાર વિદ્યાર્થી રહ્યાં છો અને તે માટે તમારે ભારે કિંમત ચૂકવવી પડે છે. તમે નાનપણ કેવી રીતે જીવ્યાં? આના પર વિકાસે કહ્યું હતું કે તેને નથી લાગતું કે તેણે નાનપણ ગુમાવ્યું હોય. નાનપણા તેણે મિત્રતા, એક્ટિવિટી, સ્પોર્ટ્સ કર્યું જ છે અને તે આજે પણ તેની સાથે છે. તેને લાગે છે કે તે આજે પણ નાનપણ જીવી રહ્યો છે.
અન્ય એક સવાલમાં વિકાસને પૂછવામાં આવ્યું હતું કે તેણે પહેલીવાર સિગરેટ ક્યારે પીધી હતી, જેના જવાબમાં વિકાસે સિગરેટના નુકસાનની વાત કરી હતી. આટલું જ નહીં વિકાસે એમ પણ કહ્યું હતું કે તેણે ક્યારેય સિગરેટ પીધી જ નથી. આ જવાબ સાંભળીને અધિકારી હસવા લાગ્યા હતાં.
વિકાસને તેના વિષયના પણ અનેક સવાલ કરવામાં આવ્યા પરંતુ કેટલાંક સવાલ અલગ પણ હતાં. વિકાસને પૂછવામાં આવ્યું કે તે ડાયરી લખે છે? અને બ્લોગ કોને કહે છે? આના જવાબમા વિકાસે કહ્યું હતું કે બ્લોગમાં કોઈ પણ ચોક્કસ વિષય પર લખવામાં આવે છે, જેમાં ડિજીટલ મીડિયમનો ઉપયોગ થાય છે અને તે ક્યારેય બ્લોગ લખતો નથી.
