અમદાવાદ: ભારતીય રેલવેની ટ્રેનમાં લાખો લોકો દરરોજ યાત્રા કરે છે, પણ ઇન્ડિયન રેલવે સાથે જોડાયેલી કેટલીક રસપ્રદ વાતો લોકો જાણતાં નથી. તો આજે અમે તમને ભારતીય રેલવે સાથે જોડાયેલી કેટલીક રસપ્રદ વાત વિશે જણાવીએ.
શું તમે ક્યારેય એ વાત પર ધ્યાન આપ્યું છે કે, ટ્રેનના છેલ્લાં ડબ્બા પર પાછળની સાઇડ ‘X’નું નિશાન કેમ હોય છે. શું તમે એવું વિચાર્યું છે કે, આ ‘X’નું નિશાન કેમ બનાવવામાં આવે છે અને તેનો અર્થ શું છે.?
ભારતીય રેલવે દ્વારા ટ્રેનના ડબ્બા પર બનાવવામાં આવેલાં નિશાન અને સંકેત રેલ કર્મચારી માટે હોય છે. આ ‘X’ હંમેશા ટ્રેનના છેલ્લાં ડબ્બા પર લગાવામાં આવે છે. જેનો અર્થ એવો છે કે, આખી ટ્રેન જઈ રહી છે.
દરેક ટ્રેનના લાસ્ટ ડબ્બા પર જ ‘X’નું નિશાન એટલે હોય છે. જેનાથી સ્ટેશન પર ઊભેલાં રેલવે કર્મચારીને જાણ થઈ શકે કે, આખી ટ્રેન પસાર થઈ ગઈ છે. એટલે એવું પણ જાણવા મળે છે કે, ટ્રેન કોઈ પણ દુર્ઘટનાનો શિકાર થઈ નથી અને એક સ્ટેશનથી બીજા સ્ટેશન પર સલામત રીતે પહોંચી છે. દરેક સ્ટેશન પર રેલવે કર્મચારી ‘X’ આ ક્રોસના નિશાનથી ટ્રેનનું ચેકિંગ કરે છે અને લીલી ઝંડી બતાવે છે.
આ ઉપરાંત ટ્રેનના લાસ્ટ કોચની પાછળ એક વીજળીનો લેમ્પ પણ લાગેલો હોય છે. જે લાઇટની રીતે ચમકે પણ છે. તો, ‘X’ની સાથે એક નાના બોર્ડ પર LV પણ લખ્યું હોય છે. LVનું ફુલ ફોર્મ થાય ય છે લાસ્ટ વ્હીકલ જેનો અર્થ છે છેલ્લો ડબ્બો.
જો કોઈ ટ્રેનના છેલ્લાં ડબ્બા પર ‘X’નું નિશાન અને LV બંનેમાંથી કોઈનો પણ સંકેત ના હોય તો તેના પરથી સ્પષ્ટ છે કે, આ એક આપાતકાલીન સ્થિતિ છે. જેને જોતાં જ રેલવે કર્મચારી ટ્રેનના ડબ્બા છૂટવા અને દુર્ઘટના સંબંધિત જાણકારીથી એલર્ટ થાય છે.
