મોબાઈલ શોપ પર રિચાર્જ કરાવા આવતી યુવતી સાથે પ્રેમ, પછી લગ્ન ને પછી વિશ્વાસઘાત…ને અંતે મોત. પત્નીની બેવફાઈથી ત્રાસેલા યુવકે 22 ઓક્ટોબરના રોજ ચાની દુકાન પર ચાકુથી હત્યા કરી નાખી હતી. હૃદયના ધબકારા વધારી દેતો આ બનાવથી પોલીસ પણ ચકરાવે ચઢી હતી. પોલીસ પૂછપરછમાં અનેક ચોંકાવનારા ખુલાસા થયા હતા. બંને લગ્ન બાદ માત્ર 4 મહિના રહ્યા હતા. મહિલા બીજાને પ્રેમ કરવા લાગી હતી. ગુસ્સામાં આવેલા પતિએ પત્નીની હત્યા કરી નાખી હતી.
જયપુરના પોલીસ અધિકારી હરિ સિંહે કહ્યું હતું કે હત્યાના આરોપી મહેશ ઠાકરેની મહારાષ્ટ્રમાં પૂછપરછ કરવામાં આવી છે. છ વર્ષ પહેલાં ઝોયા આસિફની મુલાકાત મહેશ સાથે થઈ હતી. મહેશ મોબાઈલની દુકાનમાં કામ કરતો હતો. ઝોયા મોબાઇલ રિચાર્જ માટે આવી હતી. બંને એકબીજાના પ્રેમમાં પડ્યા હતા. ઝોયાએ 2020માં મહેશ સાથે લગ્ન કર્યા હતા. જોકે, લગ્ન બાદ બંને વચ્ચે ઝઘડો થવા લાગ્યો હતો. ઝોયા અઠવાડિયામાં ક્યારેક ચાર દિવસ તો ક્યારેક પાંચ દિવસ જ મહેશના ઘરે રોકાતી હતી.
ઝોયા લગ્નના ચાર મહિના બાદ ગુમ થઈ ગઈ હતી. મહેશે પુનામાં ગુમ થવા અંગે પોલીસ ફરિયાદ કરી હતી. પોલીસે ઝોયાને શોધી તો તે સાહિલ સાથે મળી હતી. સાહિલ પુનામાં જ હોટલમાં વેટર તરીકે કામ કરતો હતો. બંને વચ્ચે પહેલેથી જ મિત્રતા હતી. પૂછપરછમાં ઝોયાએ સાહિલ સાથે રહેવાની ઈચ્છા વ્યક્ત કરી હતી. તે મહેશ સાથે રહેવા માગતી નહોતી. પોલીસે તેને છોડી દીધી હતી. મહેશે જ્યારે ઝોયાને સાથે આવવાનું કહ્યું તો તેણે ના પાડી દીધી હતી. આ વાતથી મહેશ ગુસ્સામાં હતો. ઝોયા તથા સાહિલ જતા રહ્યા હતા.
ઝોયાના લગ્નથી પરિવાર નારાજ હતોઃ તપાસમાં એ વાત સામે આવી હતી કે ઝોયાએ મહેશ સાથે લગ્ન કર્યા તે ઝોયાના પરિવારને પસંદ નહોતું. મુસ્લિમ ઝોયાના પરિવારને હિંદુ યુવક સાથેના લગ્ન સામે વિરોધ હતો. તેમણે મુસ્લિમ યુવક સાથે જ લગ્ન કરવાનું કહ્યું હતું. વિરોધ થતાં ઝોયાએ સાહિલ સાથે નિકટતા કેળવી હતી. સાહિલ સાથે તેની ઓળખાણ પહેલેથી જ હતી. તે મહેશને તરછોડી સાહિલ સાથે રહેવા લાગી હતી. ઝોયા પુના છોડીને સાહિલની પાસે પશ્ચિમ બંગાળ રહેવા જતી રહી હતી. તેણે પોતાનો મોબાઇલ નંબર પણ બદલી નાખ્યો હતો. જોકે, મહેશે બદલો લેવાનું નક્કી કર્યું હતું.
ઝોયા જયપુરમાં સ્પા સેન્ટર ચલાવતી કામિનીને માતા માનતી હતી. કામિનીના દીકરાનું કેન્સરમાં મોત થયું હતું. ત્યારથી કામિની ઝોયાને જ દીકરી માનતી હતી. ઝોયા ઘણીવાર દિલ્હીથી જયપુર ખાસ કામિનીને મળવા આવતી હતી. મહેશે અનેકવાર કામિનીને ફોન કરીને ઝોયા સાથે વાત કરાવવાનું કહ્યું હતું. કામિનીએ કોન્ફરન્સમાં વાત કરાવી હતી.
ઝોયા હાલમાં જ દિલ્હીથી જયુપર આવી હતી. અહીંયા તે કામિનીને મળી હતી. ત્યારબાદ બંને ચાની દુકાને ગયા હતા. ઝોયા જ્યારે ઊભી થઈને નીકળી તો મહેશે ચાકુ લઈને ઝોયા પર હુમલો કર્યો હતો. તે ઝોયાનો પીછો કરતો કરતો જયુપર આવ્યો હતો. ઝોયાની હત્યા કર્યા બાદ મહેશ ફરાર થઈ ગયો હતો. ઝોયાની માતા સમાન કામિનીએ પોલીસને હત્યા અંગે જાણ કરી હતી.
પોલીસે જયપુરના 400 સીસીટીવી ચેક કર્યા હતા. ફુટેજ બ્લર હતા. ઓરોપીની ઓળખ કરીને પોલીસ નાસિક પહોંચી હતી. નાસિકમાંથી આરોપીને પકડવામાં આવ્યો હતો. હજી સુધી ઝોયાના પરિવારમાંથી કોઈ આવ્યું નથી. સાહિલને અનેકવાર બોલાવ્યો હોવા છતાંય પોલીસને મળવા આવ્યો નથી.
