ઊંઝાઃ ગુજરાત સહિત વિશ્વમાં પથરાયેલા કડવા પાટીદારોનાં કુળદેવી મા ઉમિયા માતાજીના ઊંઝામાં આગામી 18થી 22 ડિસેમ્બરે વિશ્વ કલ્યાણ અર્થે ગુજરાતની ધરતી ઉપર સૌપ્રથમવાર ‘લક્ષચંડી મહાયજ્ઞ’નું આયોજન કરવામાં આવેલ છે. જેને લઈને રવિવારે મુખ્ય યજમાન સહિતની યોજાયેલી 22 જેટલી ઉછામણીમાં પાટીદારોએ મા ઉમિયાના ચરણોમાં ખુલ્લા મને દાન વરસાવ્યું હતું.
મુખ્ય યજમાન માટે સૌથી ઊંચી રૂપિયા 4.25 કરોડની ઉછામણી બોલી વરમોરા ગ્રુપના ગોવિંદભાઈ ગણેશભાઈ પટેલે લગાવી હતી. કુલ રૂપિયા 7.48 કરોડની ઉછામણી બોલી લગાવીને મા ઉમાના ભક્તોએ રંગ રાખ્યો હતો. ઉછામણીની શરૂઆતથી થઈ તેમ તેમ દાનની વર્ષાં થતી રહી હતી.
