બાડમેરઃ ગરમીના સમયે રણ વિસ્તારમાં પારો 45 થી 48 ડિગ્રી વચ્ચે કે તેની પાર જતો હોય છે. આ ગરમીથી પોતાને બચાવવા લોકો વિવિધ ઉપાયો અને જુગાડ અપનાવતા હોય છે. આવો જ એક જુગાડ મહાબારના રતન સિંહ રાજપુરોહિતે કર્યો છે. રતન સિંહે પોતાના ખેતરમાં વૃક્ષ પર જ ઝૂંપડી બનાવી છે. બાડમેર-જેસલમેરમાં મે-જૂનમાં ગરમી પીક પર હોય છે.
આ સમયે ગરમીથી રાહત મેળવવા દિવસના સમયે ઉપરાંત ઘણીવાર રાતે પણ તે આ ઝૂંપડીમાં જ રોકાય છે. રતનસિંહે ગૂગલ અને યુટ્યૂબ પર માહિતી મેળવી 2 મહિના અગાઉ આ ઝૂંપડી બનાવી હતી.
સરહદી જીલ્લા બાડમેરમાં મે-જૂનમાં તાપમાન 48 ડિગ્રી સુધી પહોંચે છે. રતન સિંહે જણાવ્યું કે, ભયંકર ગરમીમાં પણ આ ઝૂંપડીમાં બેસવા પર ના તો પંખાની જરૂર પડે છે ના તો કૂલરની. આ ઝૂંપડીમાં આરામથી 6 લોકો બેસી શકે છે અને 3 લોકો સુઈ શકે છે. ઝૂંપડી સુધી પહોંચવા માટે સીઢીઓ પણ બનાવવામાં આવી છે.
રતન સિંહે કહ્યું કે,‘ગૂગલ પર ગરમીથી બચવાના ઉપાયો શોધતા સમયે જ મને વૃક્ષ પર ઝૂંપડી બનેલી જોવા મળી. મે વિચાર્યું કે આવી ઝૂંપડી મારા ખેતરમાં કેમ ના બનાવી શકાય. મે 3 મહિના અગાઉ વૃક્ષ પર ઝૂંપડી બનાવી. જેમાં 6 લોકો સાથે બેસી અને જમી શકે છે. વધારે ગરમી હોય ત્યારે હું આ ઝૂંપડીમાં જ સુઈ જાઉં છું. મારા સાથીઓ આવે ત્યારે અમે આ ઝૂંપડીમાં જ બેસીને વાતો કરીએ છીએ.’
રતન સિંહે કહ્યું કે,‘આ ઝૂંપડીને 2 લોકોએ મળીને 15 દિવસમાં તૈયાર કરી હતી. આ ઝૂંપડીમાં લાકડી અને લોખંડનો ઉપયોગ કરાયો છે. તેની પાછળ 30 હજાર રૂપિયાનો ખર્ચ થયો છે. આ ઝૂંપડી જમીનથી ઉપર હોવાને કારણે જમીનમાંથી નીકળતી ગરમીનો વધુ અનુભવ થતો નથી. અહીં ગરમીથી રાહત મળે છે.’
