એક અનોખા પ્રેમનો કિસ્સો સામે આવ્યો છે. એક હિન્દુ ઓટો ડ્રાઈવરને એક મુસ્લિમ યુવતી સાથે પ્રેમ થઈ ગયો હતો. જ્યારે યુવતીના પરિવારજનોને આની ખબર પડી તો તેમણે પ્રેમીની ધોલાઈ કરી હતી. જેથી પ્રેમિકાને ખોટું લાગી જતાં તેણે ઝેર પીને જીવ આપી દેવાનો પ્રયત્નો કર્યો હતો. હવે પ્રેમિકાએ હિન્દુ રીતિ-રિવાજથી મંદિરમાં સાત ફેરા ફરી પ્રેમી સાથે લગ્ન કરી લીધા છે અને પોતાનું નામ બદલીને ચંદા રાખી દીધું છે.
છેલ્લાં કેટલાક દિવસથી બિહારમાં આ મામલો ચર્ચાનો વિષય બન્યો છે. વર્ષ 2016માં બેગૂસરાયના બલિયા વિસ્તારમાં ઑટો ડ્રાઈવર રાજીવ કુમારને ચાંદ બીવી નામની યુવતી સાથે પ્રેમ થઈ ગયો હતો. બંને વચ્ચે પ્રેમ ધીમે ધીમે ઉંડો બન્યો હતો અને બંને સાથે જીવવા-મરવાના કોલ આપી દીધા હતા.
બીજી તરફ ચાંદ બીવી નામની યુવતીના પરિવારજનોને આ વાતની ખબર પડતાં તેમણે જોરદાર બબાલ કરી હતી. દરમિયાન ગયા મંગળવારે પરીક્ષાની તૈયારની બૂક આપવા ગયેલા પ્રેમીને યુવતીના પરિવારજનોએ જોરદાર ધોલાઈ કરી હતી. પ્રેમીની ધોલાઈથી પ્રેમિકા દુ:ખ પહોંચ્યું હતું. જેથી તેણે ઝે પી લીધું હતું. પરિવારજનોએ તેને તાત્કાલિક હોસ્પિટલ ખસેડી તેનો જીવ બચાવ્યો હતો.
ચાંદ બીવીએ હોસ્પિટલમાં મીડિયા સાથેની વાતચીતમાં જણાવ્યું હતું, “મારા લગ્ન રાજીવ સાથે ન થયા તો હું જીવ આપી દઈશ.” આ નિવેદન બાદ સ્થાનિક લોકો આ લવસ્ટોરીના સમર્થનમાં આવ્યા હતા. બાદમાં શુક્રવારે આર્ય સમાજમાં યુવક અને યુવકીના હિન્દુ રીતિ-રિવાજથી લગ્ન કરાવ્યા હતા. અને ચાંદ બીવી નામની આ યુવતીએ પોતાનું નામ ચંદા રાખી લીધું છે.
બીજી તરફ પોલીસે જણાવ્યું હતું કે મામલો પ્રેમપ્રસંગનો છે. કોઈ પમ પક્ષ દ્વારા આવેદન કે ફરિયાદ કરવામાં આવી નથી. જોકે પોલીસ તપાસ પછી કાર્યવાહીની વાત કરી રહી છે.
