અમદાવાદ: ગુજરાતમાં હજુ સુધી સારો વરસાદ થયો નથી. રાજ્યમાં અમુક જ જગ્યાએ ભારે વરસાદ તો મધ્ય ગુજરાત અને ઉત્તર ગુજરાતમાં જાણે રિસામણા કરી લીધા હોય તેવી સ્થિતિ જોવા મળી રહી છે. ચોમાસાને એક મહિનાથી વધારે સમય વીતી ગયો હોવા છતાં પણ આવ્યો નથી ત્યારે હજુ પણ અડધાથી વધારે ગુજરાતની ધરા તરસી રહી છે. અત્યાર સુધીમાં ગુજરાતમાં માત્ર સરેરાશ 28 ટકા જ વરસાદ નોંધાયો છે. પરંતુ આગામી દિવસોમાં વરસાદ મન મુકીને વરસે તેવી શક્યતાઓ જોવા મળી રહી છે.
હવામાન વિભાગ પ્રમાણે, આગામી પાંચ દિવસ વરસાદી માહોલ યથાવત રહેશે. જોકે કચ્છમાં નામનો જ વરસાદ થયો છે તો ઉતર ગુજરાત પણ અમુક તાલુકામાં પાણીની બહુ જ જરૂર છે. વરસાદ ખેંચાવવાના કારણે ખેડૂતો ચિંતત બન્યા છે. પરંતુ સાક્લોનિક સરક્યુલેશનની સિસ્ટમના કારણે વરસાદ સારો થયો છે.
હવામાન વિભાગના ડાયરેક્ટર ડોકટર જયંત સરકારે જણાવ્યું હતું કે, આગામી દિવસોમાં સૌરાષ્ટ્ર અને દક્ષિણ ગુજરાતમા ભારે વરસાદ પડે તેવી સંભાવના છે. 27 જુલાઈથી ગુજરાતમા વરસાદની તીવ્રતા વધશે. કારણ કે 26 જુલાઈના બંગાળના દરિયા કિનારે લો પ્રેશર સક્રિય થઈ રહ્યું છે અને વરસાદી સિસ્ટમ મજબુત હોવાના કારણે ગુજરાતમાં સારો વરસાદ આવશે તેવું લાગી રહ્યું છે.
28 અને 29 જુલાઈના સમગ્ર ગુજરાતમાં ભારેથી અતિભારે વરસાદની આગાહી કરવામાં આવી છે. વલસાડ, નવસારી, દમણ, બનાસકાંઠા, સાબરકાંઠા, પાટણ, મહેસાણા, ગીર સોમનાથ, અમરેલી, જુનાગઢ અને કચ્છમાં 28 અને 29 જુલાઈના ભારેથી અતિભારે વરસાદ ખાબકશે.
ઉલ્લેખનીય છે કે, ચોમાસું બેસી ગયા બાદ દક્ષિણ ગુજરાતમાં વરસાદ થયો અને બાકીના વિસ્તારોમાં વરસાદ ખેંચાયો છે. જોકે મહત્વનું કારણ એ છે કે, ચોમાસું બેસી ગયા બાદ બંગાળની ખાડી અને અરબી સમુદ્રમાં બનતી સિસ્ટમ ગુજરાતને વરસાદ આપે છે.
