One Gujarat, Surat: કોરોના સંકટની વચ્ચે ઘણાં એવા લોકો પણ મદદ કરવા માટે સામે આવી રહ્યો છે, જેના કારણે આ મુશ્કેલ ભરી પરિસ્થિતિ સારી થતી જોવા મળી રહી છે અને આશાનું એક કિરણ પણ દેખાઈ રહ્યું છે. ત્યારે એવા એક વ્યક્તિ છે ગુજરાતીના ઉદ્યોગપતિ મહેન્દ્ર ભાઈ રામોલિયા જે પોતાના મિત્રોની સાથે સુરતમાં હાલ મોટું અભિયાન ચલાવી રહ્યાં છે. તેમની તરફથી સુરતમાં ઓક્સિજનના સિલેન્ડર ફ્રીમાં આપી રહ્યાં છે. આ ઉદ્યોગપતિએ ફ્રીમાં સેવા શરૂ કરતાં સુરતના લોકો આજે વાહ વાહ કરી રહ્યાં છે.
સુરતમાં કોરોના સંક્રમણના કેસોમાં જબરદસ્ત ઉછાળો જોવા મળી રહ્યો છે. સ્થિતિ એટલી બધી ખરાબ છે કે, ઘણી હોસ્પિટલોમાં તો ઓક્સિજન અને બેડની અછત સર્જાઈ છે. આ બધાંની વચ્ચે ઘણાં લોકો પોતાના સ્થળ પર જ મદદ કરવાની કોશિશ કરી રહ્યા છે. તે પોતાના સંસાધનોના આધારે આ સંકટની સ્થિતિમાં લોકોની મુશ્કેલીઓને સરળ કરવાનો પ્રયાસ કરી રહ્યાં છે.
આ સ્થિતિમાં જીઆઈડીસીના પ્રેસિડેન્ટ મહેન્દ્રભાઈ રામોલિયાએ પોતાના બધાં મિત્રો ઉદ્યોગપતિઓની સાથે મીટિંગ કરી હતી અને નિર્ણય કર્યો હતો કે, તેમની તરફથી આખા શહેરમાં જરૂરિયાતમંદ કોરોના સંક્રમિત દર્દીઓને ઓક્સિજન સિલેન્ડર તદ્દન ફ્રીમાં આપવામાં આવશે. મહેન્દ્રભાઈ તરફથી કહેવામાં આવી રહ્યું છે કે, તેમના ત્યાં બે ઓક્સિજનના પ્લાન્ટ છે અને શહેરમાં આ સમય કોરોનાના પ્રકોપ જોવા મળી રહ્યો છે એવામાં તેઓ તમામ જરૂરિયાતમંદ લોકોને જેમ બને એમ ઝડપી મદદ કરવા માગે છે.
અત્યાર સુધી મહેન્દ્રભાઈ રામોલિયા તરફથી 50 ઓક્સિજન સિલેન્ડર ખરીદવામાં આવેલ છે, જરૂર પડવા પર તેઓ વધુ સિલેન્ડર ખરીદવાની વાત પણ કરી રહ્યાં છે. જે સમયે તેમની તરફથી સેવાની શરૂઆત કરવામાં આવી હતી ત્યારના કરતાં પણ હાલ સુરત શહેરની સ્થિતિ બહુ જ ખરાબ છે. સંક્રમિત દર્દીઓનો આંકડો તો સતત વધી રહ્યો છે, આ ઉપરાંત હવે મોતનો પણ ગ્રાફ વધતો જોવા મળી રહ્યો છે.
ત્યારે બીજી બાજુ હોસ્પિટલોમાં પણ દર્દીઓની સંખ્યા બહુ જ વધારે થઈ ગઈ છે. આજ કારણે ઓક્સિજનથી લઈને બેડ સુધીની સુવિધા કરવી મોટી ચેતવણી સાબિત થઈ રહી છે. સુરતની મુખ્ય સરકારી નવી હોસ્પિટલ સિવિલ અને સ્મીમેર હોસ્પિટલમાં દાખલ કોરોનાના દર્દીઓને ઓક્સિજન ઉપલબ્ધ કરાવવા માટે પ્રશાસને મોટા મોટા ઓક્સિજન ટેંક લગાવ્યા છે. પરંતુ હજુ પણ તે વ્યવસ્થા પણ અસફળ સાબિત થઈ રહી છે અને દર્દીઓના હાલ ખરાબ થતાં જોવા મળી રહ્યાં છે.
ગુજરાતની કોરોના સ્થિતિની વાત કરવામાં આવે તો, અમદાવાદ, સુરત અને વડોદરા સૌથી વધારે પ્રભાવિત માનવામાં આવે છે. સ્થિતિ એટલે ચિંતાજનક છે કે, અમદાવાદની હોસ્પિટલોની બહાર હવે એમ્બ્યુલન્સની લાંબી લાઈનો જોવા મળી રહી છે. આ મહામારી સામે જે રીતે ગુજરાત સરકાર લડી રહી છે તેનાથી પણ ગુજરાત હાઈકોર્ટ સંતુષ્ટ નથી.
