અમદાવાદ: અમદાવાદના ઓઢવમાં 8.55 હેક્ટરમાં નિર્માણ પામેલા ‘જડેશ્વર વન’નું આજે શનિવારે લોકાર્પણ કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું. રાજ્યકક્ષાના 70માં વન મહોત્સવ અંતર્ગત મુખ્યમંત્રી વિજયભાઈ રૂપાણીએ ‘જડેશ્વર વન’ને ખૂલ્લો મૂક્યો હતો.
‘જડેશ્વર વન’માં સુંદર ફૂલોથી સુશોભિત બગીચા, સુંદર તળાવ, ઓપન થીયેટર, દોડવા તેમજ ચાલવા માટેના અલગ ટ્રેક, ઓપન જીમ, નાના ભુલકાઓ માટેના રમતના સાધનો, યોગા કેન્દ્ર, ઝુલતો પુલ, જેવી અનેક સુવિધાઓ છે. આ વનમાં રાશિ-નક્ષત્ર પર આધારિત અનેક વૃક્ષોનું વાવેતર પણ કરવામાં આવ્યું છે.
ઉલ્લેખનીય છે કે વન વિભાગે રાજ્યમાં વિવિધ સ્થળોએ સાંસ્કૃતિક વનોનું નિર્માણ કર્યું છે. આજે લોકાર્પિત થયેલું ‘જડેશ્વર વન’ 19મું સાંસ્કૃતિક વન છે.
