આમ તો ગુજરાતના ઘણા યુવાનોએ પાઈલટ બનીને પોતાની સોનેરી કારકિર્દી બનાવી છે. પણ અમદાવાદના શહેરના કેમ્પ સદર બજારમાં રહેતા વાલ્મીકિ સમાજના પાર્થ ગણેશે પાઈલટ બનીને જે સફળતા મેળવી છે તે થોડી અલગ છે. કારણ કે ઓછા ભણેલા પરિવારમાંથી આવતો હોવા છતાં પાર્થે પાઈલટ બનીને સિદ્ધનું શિખર સર કરીને સમાજનું પણ ગૌરવ વધાર્યું છે.
વાત એમ છે કે, પાર્થના દાદા સ્વ. રામચન્દ્રભાઈ એક એરલાઈન્સ કંપનીમાં ડ્રાઈવર તરીકે ફરજ બનાવતા હતા. જ્યારે તેમના પિતા સુરેશભાઈ સ્વીપરની નોકરી કરતા હતા. દાદા રોજ વિમાનોને ઉડતો જોતા હતા અને તેથી તેમની ઈચ્છા હતી કે પરિવારમાંથી કોઈ એક વ્યક્તિ પાઈલટ બને, જેથી તેઓ પણ માથું ગર્વથી ઉપર રાખી વિમાન ઉડાવતા જોઈ શકે. તેઓ સતત પરિવારના સભ્યોને બાળકોના ભણતર પર ભાર મુકવાનું કહેતા. એમાંય પાર્થને સારું ભણાવીને ઉચ્ચ અભ્યાસ થકી પાઈલટ બને તે માટે સતત પ્રોત્સાહન આપવા જણાવતા હતા.
પાર્થના કાકા ગિરીશભાઈએ જણાવ્યું કે, મારા પિતાજી મારા મોટાભાઈને કહેતા કે, ગમે તે થાય પણ પૈસાની ચિંતા કર્યા વિના પાર્થને ભણાવીને પાઈલટ બનાવજો. અમે પાર્થને અનેક આર્થિક મુશ્કેલીઓ વચ્ચે પણ ભણાવ્યો. સારામાં સારી સેવન્થ ડે એડવન્ટિસ સ્કૂલમાં ભણતર કરાવ્યું. અહીં ધોરણ 1થી 12માં પાઈલોટ બનવા માટે જરુરી તમામ બાબતોનો વિકાસ થયો. તે પછીથી તેણે પાઈલોટ બનવા માટેનું શિક્ષણ પણ મેળવ્યું અને કોમર્શિયલ પાઈલટનું લાયસન્સ મેળવ્યું. પહેલા વાલ્મીકિ સમાજના દીકરાના હાથમાં ઝાડુ જોવા મળતું. પણ હવે આ યુવાન વિમાન ઉડાડશે.
આ અંગે પાર્થ ગણેશે જણાવ્યું કે, માતા-પિતાએ મારા ભણતર માટે પાછું વળીને જોયું નથી. મેં પણ દાદાનું સપનું પૂર્ણ કરવાનું પ્રણ લીધું હતું. બેંગલોરમાં શાળાકીય શિક્ષણ પૂર્ણ કર્યા બાદ મદુરાઈની કામરાજ યુનિવર્સિટીમાંથી બીએએસી (મેથ્સ વિષય)ની પદવી મેળવી. તે પછી અમદાવાદમાં એવિએશન એન્ડ એરોનોટિક્સ ફ્લાઈંગ સ્કૂલમાં વિમાન ઉડાવાની ટ્રેનિંગ લીધી. તે પછીથી હૈદરાબાદની એવિએશન સ્કૂલમાંથી પાઈલટ બનવા માટે તાલીમ મેળવી. જેમાં 200 કલાકનો ફ્લાઈંગ અનુભવ મેળવ્યો.
ચીફ ફ્લાઈંગ ઈન્સ્ટ્રક્ટર કેપ્ટન મમથા, કેપ્ટન હરિકૃષ્ણ સાધુ, કેપ્ટન આર.એન. સિંઘ અને રાજ્ય સરકારના જોઈન્ટ ડાયરેક્ટર એસસી, એસટી વિભાગના નયનાબેન શ્રીમાળી પણ પાર્થની સાથે ઉડાનમાં સહયોગી બની રહ્યા. પાર્થ કહે છે કે, કંઈ પણ અશક્ય નથી. જો તમે ધારો તો કંઈ પણ કરી શકો છો. કોઈ પણ તમને રોકી નહીં શકે. પરિવાર સાથે પોતાના સપનાઓ અંગે વાત કરશો તો નિરાકરણ મળી જશે.
