સુરતના કતારગામ વિસ્તારમાં હૃદય કંપાવી નાંખે તેવી ઘટના સામે આવી છે. જેમાં આજે લક્ષ્મી રેસિડેન્સીના આઠમાં માળેથી બે વર્ષનું બાળક નીચે પટકાયું અને તેનું કરૂણ મોત નિપજ્યું હતું. રમતાં રમતાં બાળક નીચે પટકાવાની ઘટના CCTVમાં થઈ કેદ થઈ છે. જેમાં જણાઇ આવે છે કે ફ્લેટના આગળના પેસેજમાં બાળક ગ્રીલ પાસે રમતું હતું અને આ દરમિયાન તે નીચે પટકાયું. આ ઘટના માતા-પિતા અને પરિવારજનો માટે લાલબત્તી સમાન કિસ્સો છે.
સુરતના કતારગામ વિસ્તારમાં આવેલ લક્ષ્મી રેસિડેન્સીના આઠમાં માળે ફ્લેટના પેસેજમાં એક બાળક રમી રહ્યો હતો. આ દરમિયાન તે ગ્રીલ પર ચડ્યો અને રમતાં રમતાં નીચે જોઇ રહ્યો હતો. દરમિયાન તેણે શારીરિક સમતોલન ગુમાવ્યું હતું અને તે નીચે પટકાયો હતો. જેમાં તેનું કરૂણ મોત થયું હતું. CCTVમાં કેદ દ્રશ્યોમાં બાળક જ્યારે પેસેજની ગ્રીલ પકડી ઉપર ચડી રમી રહ્યું હતું ત્યારે તેમાં કોઇ પરિવારજન નજીકમાં દેખાઇ રહ્યા નથી.
અત્રે ઉલ્લેખનીય છે કે મહદંશે શહેરોમાં હાઈરાઈઝ એપાર્ટમેન્ટ્સમાં આ પ્રકારની ગ્રીલ ગેલેરીમાં અને ફ્લેટના વચ્ચેના પેસેજમાં આપણને જોવા મળતી હોય છે. આવા સમયે ઘરમાં નાના બાળકો હોય તો સુરતમાં બનેલ આ ઘટના ચેતવણીરૂપ કિસ્સો છે કે એક નાની સરખી બેદરકારી બાળકનો જીવ લઈ શકે છે. ગ્રીલ કે પેસેજમાં કે ગેલેરીમાં જો બાળક પડી શકે તેવી જગ્યા હોય તો રમતાં રમતાં આ ઘટના બની શકે છે. તેથી પરિવારજનોએ ખાસ ધ્યાન રાખવું જોઈએ કે આ પ્રકારની સ્થિતિમાં બાળકને એકલું રમતા છોડવું જોઈએ નહીં. તેમજ આ પ્રકારે જો બાળક નીચે પડી જાય તેવી જગ્યા હોય તો તેને બંધ રાખવી જરૂરી છે.
મોટા ડેમો વાડી ગ્રીલ બિલ્ડરોએ પણ ન રાખવી જોઈએ અને આ પ્રકારની ગ્રીલ હોય તો ફ્લેટ લેતી વખતે જ માતા-પિતાએ અન્ય નાની-નાની ગ્રીલ ફિટ કરી દેવી જોઈએ. જેથી કરીને ત્યાંથી કોઈ વસ્તુ નીચે ના પડી જાય. સમગ્ર ઘટના પ્રકાશમાં આવતાની સાથે જ કતારગામ પોલીસે અકસ્માતે મોતનો ગુનો નોંધી તપાસ શરૂ કરી છે.
