પીલીભીતઃ ઉત્તર પ્રદેશના પીલીભીતમાં એક લગ્ન દરમિયાન હોબાળો જોવા મળ્યો હતો. વરમાળા દરમિયાન સ્ટેજ પર બેઠેલાં વરરાજાને પોલીસ ઉઠાવીને લઈ ગઈ હતી. કહેવાય છે કે આ વિવાદ બે લગ્નને કારણે થયો હતો. વરરાજા પર આક્ષેપ છે કે તેણે પહેલી પત્નીને ડિવોર્સ આપ્યા વગર જ બીજા લગ્નનું આયોજન કર્યું હતું. હાલમાં પોલીસ આ કેસની તપાસ કરી રહી છે.
વરરાજાની પહેલી પત્ની પોલીસને જાણ કરી હતી કે 28 નવેમ્બર, 2012માં તેના લગ્ન શાહજહાપુરમાં રહેતા વ્યક્તિ સાથે થયા હતા. પરિણીતાનો આક્ષેપ છે કે લગ્નના થોડાં મહિના બાદ જ પતિ તથા સાસરિયા સાથે ઝઘડા ચાલુ થઈ ગયા હતા. તેના સાસરિયા દહેજની માગણી કરતા હતા અને તેના રંગ પર મેણા મારતા હતા. આ અંગે તેણે સાસરિયા પર કેસ પણ કર્યો હતો. હાલમાં આ કેસ કોર્ટમાં છે.
આ દરમિયાન મહિલાને જાણ થઈ કે તેનો પતિ પીલીભીતમાં કોઈ યુવતી સાથે બીજા લગ્ન કરી રહ્યો છે. તે પોલીસને લઈ લગ્ન અટકાવવા માટે પહોંચી ગઈ હતી. પરિણીતાએ લગ્નમંડપમાં ઘણો જ હોબાળો કર્યો હતો. પોલીસે લગ્ન અટકાવ્યા અને તે વરરાજાને પોતાની સાથે લઈ ગઈ હતી.
પીડિત મહિલાએ કહ્યું હતું કે તેના હજી સુધી ડિવોર્સ થયા નથી. આ દરમિયાન તેમની વચ્ચે કોઈ સમાધાન પણ થયું નથી. કોર્ટમાં કેસ ચાલે છે. તેનો પતિ આ રીતે લગ્ન કરે તે નિયમની વિરુ્ધ છે. તેની પાસે કડકમાં કડક કાર્યવાહી થવી જોઈએ.
પોલીસે કહ્યું હતું કે જ્યારે તેઓ પહોંચ્યા ત્યારે લગ્ન થઈ ગયા હતા. વરરાજાને થોડીવાર માટે પોલીસ સ્ટેશન લાવવામાં આવ્યો હતો. પીડિત મહિલા પોલીસ સ્ટેશન અને લગ્ન સ્થળના ચક્કર કાપતી રહી, પરંતુ વરરાજાએ બીજા લગ્ન કર્યાં અને તે પત્ની સાથે જતો પણ રહ્યો. હાલમાં પોલીસ આ કેસની તપાસ કરે છે.
