હોશંગાબાદઃ ન્યાસ કોલોનીમાં રહેતા વિક્રમે આસફાબાદની એક્તા સાથે હિંદુ રીતિ-રિવાજ સાથે લગ્ન કર્યા હતા. વિક્રમ અને એકતાની જોડી અને તેમની પહેલની લોકો ઘણી પ્રશંસા કરી રહ્યાં છે. 31 વર્ષીય લોકો પાયલટ વિક્રમ ચૌરેએ દહેજ ના લેવાનો સંકલ્પ લેતા ભેટ તરીકે ના દહેજને લેવાનો પણ ઈન્કાર કર્યો હતો. તેણે ભેટના નામે મળતા દહેજને પણ લગ્નથી અલગ રાખી દહેજ મુક્ત લગ્નનું ઉદાહરણ રજૂ કર્યું હતું.
વિક્રમની એકમાત્ર શરત હતી અને તે હતી દહેજ મુક્ત લગ્ન. શગુન કહીને ભેટ આપવાનો પ્રયાસ યુવતીના પક્ષે કર્યો હતો. આ અંગે વિક્રમે લગ્ન કરાવનાર પંડિત સાથે ચર્ચા કરી માત્ર શ્રીફળ અને હલ્દીના તિલક સાથે લગ્ન કર્યા હતા. આ લગ્નને કારણે દુલ્હન પક્ષ પણ ઘણો ખુશ થયો હતો. દરેક યુવતીનું સ્વપ્ન હોય છે કે, તેના લગ્ન થાય ત્યારે પિતાને મુશ્કેલીઓનો સામનો ના કરવો પડે અને વિક્રમે તે સ્વપ્ન પૂર્ણ કર્યું હતું.
પાંજરા કલાના ગંગાવિશનના લોકો પાયલટ વિક્રમના લગ્ન જાસલપુરની એકતા સાથે થવાનો હતો. એકતા સીહોર જીલ્લા હોસ્પિટલમાં સ્ટાફ નર્સ છે. રિંગ સેરેમની થયા બાદ વિક્રમે પોતાના પરિવારમાં આ વાત રાખી તો અમુક સભ્યોએ કહ્યું કે, તેઓ કોઈ ડિમાન્ડ નથી રાખી રહ્યાં પરંતુ અમુક વસ્તુઓ શગુનની હોય છે જેનો ઈન્કાર ના કરી શકાય.
જેની પર વિક્રમે કહ્યું કે, ‘લગ્નમાં શગુન કે ભેટ એ દહેજ જ છે. જો કોઈ સામાન લેશું તો તે અમુક દિવસમાં તૂટી જશે. જ્યારે દહેજ મુક્ત લગ્ન કરવાથી જે માન મળશે તે સતત વધતું જશે.’વિક્રમે પોતાના પરિવાર સાથે વાત કર્યા બાદ એકતાના જીજા સાથે વાત કરી પોતાની ઈચ્છા એકતાના પરિવાર સુધી પહોંચાડી.
વિક્રમે ઘર સંસાર માટે જરૂરી સામાન પોતાની બચતમાંથી જ ખરીદી પોતાની પાસે રાખ્યો હતો. લગ્નનો ખર્ચ બંને પરિવારે ભોગવ્યો હતો. એકતાના પિતા રિખીરામે જણાવ્યું કે, ‘સરકારી નોકરીમાં હોવા છતાં વિક્રમના પરિવારના દહેજ મુક્ત લગ્નના વિચાર સમાજ માટે આદર્શ ઉદાહરણ છે.’
