ચંદીગઢઃ આઈજી ભારતી અરોરા ભગવાન શ્રીકૃષ્ણની ભક્તિમાં લીન થઈ ગયા છે. આથી જ તેઓ સ્વૈચ્છિક નિવૃત્તિ લેવા માગે છે. 24 જુલાઈના રોજ તેમણે આ વાતનો ઉલ્લેખ કર્યો હતો. આ પત્રમાં આઈજી ભારતી અરોરાએ કહ્યું હતું કે પોલીસ સેવા તેમના માટે ગર્વ તથા જુનૂન રહ્યું છે.
ભારતી અરોરના મતે, હવે તે પોતાનું આગળનું જીવન ધાર્મિક રીતે વ્યતિત કરવા માગે છે. તે મહાપ્રભુ, કબીરદાસ તથા મીરાબાઈની જેમ પ્રભુ શ્રીકૃષ્ણની સાધના કરવા માગે છે. 50 વર્ષીય આઈપીએસ અધિકારીએ સરકારને 3 મહિનાના નોટિસ પીરિયડમાં છૂટછાટ આપવાની વિનંતી કરી હતી.
બે આઈપીએસ ભક્તિ તો બે રાજકારણમાં ગયાઃ ઉલ્લેખનીય છે કે ભારતી અરોરા પહેલાં બે આઈપીએસ અધિકારી ભક્તિમાં સીન થયા છે, જેમાં પૂર્વ આઈજી ડીકે પાંડેએ રાધાનું રૂપ ધારણ કરીને કૃષ્ણ ભક્તિ કરે છે. ડીકે પાંડા ઓરિસ્સાના છે. ઉત્તર પ્રદેશના પૂર્વ પોલીસ અધિકારી દેવેન્દ્ર કિશોર પાંડા ઉર્ફે ડીકે પાંડા 2005માં ચર્ચામાં આવ્યા હતા.
તેમણે પોતાને બીજી રાધા અને કૃષ્ણની પ્રેમિકાની જાહેરાત કરીને પોતે મહિલા હોવાનું કહ્યું હતું. 1991થી 2005 સુધી પાંડા ચોરીછુપીથી રાધાનું રૂપ લેતા હતા. 2005 પછી તેમણે હાવભાવ તથા પરિધાન જાહેરમાં સ્વીકારી લીધા હતા.
આ જ રીતે ગુપ્તેશ્વર પાંડેએ સરકારી નોકરીમાંથી સ્વૈચ્છિક નિવૃત્તિ જાહેર કરીને તેઓ ભગવાનની સેવામાં વ્યસ્ત થઈ ગયા હતા.
આ બે અધિકારી રાજકારણમાં ગયાઃ આઈપીએસ રણબીર શર્મા તથા પંજાબ પોલીસમાં આઈજી રહેલા કુંવરપ્રતાપ સિંહે આમ આદમી પાર્ટી જોઇન કરી છે.
