નવી દિલ્હી: બીજેપીના વરિષ્ઠ નેતા રાજનાજસિંહના હાથમાંથી ગૃહ મંત્રાલય નીકળીને અમિત શાહ પાસે પહોંચી ગયું છે. શુક્રવારે થયેલી મંત્રાલયોની ફાળવણીમાં રાજનાથસિંહની જગ્યાએ અમિત શાહને પ્રધાનમંત્રી નરેન્દ્ર મોદીએ ગૃહ મંત્રાલય સોંપ્યું છે.
ગૃહ મંત્રાલય અંગે એવું કહેવામાં આવે છે કે સરકારમાં નંબર બે પોઝીશન પર હોય તેને મળે છે. આમ તો મંત્રીઓની યાદીમાં પીએમ મોદી પછી રાજનાથસિંહનું નામ આવે છે, પણ તેમને સૌથી પાવરફૂલ ગણતા ગૃહ મંત્રાલયની જગ્યાએ રક્ષા મંત્રાલય મળ્યું છે.
ખાસ વાત એ છે કે ગુરૂવારે મંત્રીઓની શપથ લેવાના ક્રમમાં પણ સસ્પેન્સ બન્યું હતું. રાજનાથસિંહે 2014ની જેમ આ વખતે પણ પીએમ મોદી પછી તરત પદના શપથ લીધા હતા. આથી એવો કયાસ કાઢવામાં આવતો હતો કે તેઓ બીજી વખત ગૃહ મંત્રી બનશે, જ્યારે ત્રીજા સ્થાન પર શપથ લેનારા અમિત શાહ નાણા મંત્રી બનશે. પરંતુ બીજા દિવસે શુક્રવારે જ્યારે મંત્રાલયોની ફાળવણી થઈ તો નંબર ત્રણ પર શપથ લેનારા બીજેપી અધ્યક્ષ અમિત શાહની પોઝીશન બીજા નંબર પર આવી ગઈ હતી. આમ ફરી એક વખત મોદીએ ચોંકવનારો નિર્ણય લીધો છે.
મોદી-શાહનું ગુજરાત મોડેલ
અમિત શાહ ગૃહ મંત્રી બનતા રાજકીય નિષ્ણાતો આને ગુજરાત મોડેલ ગણાવે છે. નોંધનીય છે કે નરેન્દ્ર મોદી જ્યારે ગુજરાતના સીએમ હતા ત્યારે ગૃહ મંત્રી તરીકે અમિત શાહ જવાબદારી સંભાળતા હતા.
અમિત શાહની રાજકીય કારકિર્દી
બીજેપી અધ્યક્ષ અમિત શાહની રાજકીય કારકિર્દીની વાત કરીએ તો તેઓ પાંચ વખત ધારાસભ્ય રહી ચૂક્યા છે. અમદાવાદની સરખેજ વિધાનસભા સીટ પર તેઓ ચાર વખત ક્રમશ 1997 (પેટા ચૂંટણી), 1998, 2002 અને 2007મા ધારાસભ્ય બન્યા હતા. જ્યારે 2012મા તેઓ નારણપુરા સીટથી જીત્યા હતા. વર્ષ 2014મા રાજનાથ સિંહ મોદી સરકારમાં ગૃહ મંત્રી બન્યા બાદ અમિત શાહ બીજેપીના રાષ્ટ્રીય અધ્યક્ષ બન્યા હતા. બાદમાં ગુજરાતમાંથી રાજ્યસભા પહોંચ્યા હતા. આ વખતે લોકસભામાં ગાંધીનગર સીટ પર સાડા પાંચ લાખની સરસાઈથી પ્રચંડ વિજય મેળવ્યો હતો.
