રાયપુર: આંતરરાષ્ટ્રીય મહિલા દિવસ પર છત્તીસગઢના નક્સલ પ્રભાવિત દંતેવાડામાં ખૂબ જ સંવેદનશીલ સમાચાર સામે આવ્યા છે. નક્સલવાદીઓનો સામનો કરવા તૈનાત પોલીસની બટાલીયનમાં એક મહિલા પોલીસ પ્રેગ્નન્ટ હોવા છતાં બહાદુરીથી પોતાની ફરજ નિભાવી રહી છે. મહિલા પોલીસ કર્મચારીને આઠ મહિનાનો ગર્ભ છે, આમ છતાં તેણે નક્સલ ઓપરેશનમાંથી હટી જવાનો ઈનકાર કર્યો હતો. હાથમાં AK-47 અને પીઠ પર 25 કિલોની બેગ લઈને તે નક્સલવાદીઓનો ખાત્મો બોલાવવા જંગલો ખૂંદી રહી છે. એટલું જ નહીં આ પહેલાં ફરજ દરમિયાન તેને ગર્ભપાત થઈ ચૂક્યો છે. મહિલા પોલીસના આ જુસ્સા સૌ કોઈ સલામ કરી રહ્યા છે.
દંતેવાડા પોલીસે મે-2019માં મહિલા પોલીસ કર્મચારીઓ અને સરેન્ડર મહિલા નક્સલવાદીઓની એક સંયુક્ત ટીમ બનાવી હતી. ડ્રિસ્ટ્રિક્ટ રિઝર્વ ગાર્ડ્સ અંતર્ગત કામ કરનારી ટીમને ‘દંતેશ્વરી ફાઈટર્સ’ નામ આપવામાં આવ્યું હતું. આ ટીમ નક્સલ ઓપરેશન માટે જંગલોમાં જાય છે અને જરૂર પડવા પર નક્સલવાદીઓને ઠાર પણ કરે છે. ડીઆરજીની આ સ્પેશ્યલ ટીમની સ્પેશ્યલ મેમ્બર છે કોન્સ્ટેબ્લ સુનૈના પટેલ.
‘દંતેશ્વરી ફાઈટર્સ’ની કેડેટ સુનૈના પટેલે જણાવ્યું હતું કે કમાન્ડો ટ્રેનિંગ પછી ટીમને લીડ કરવાની જવાબદારી મળી. થોડા મહિના પછી તેને ખબર પડી કે તે પ્રેગ્નન્ટ છે. તેણે આ વાતની જાણકારી અધિકારીઓને આપી હોત તો તેને ઓપરેશનમાં જતાં રોકી દેવામાં આવી હોત. આવી સ્થિતિમાં તેણે જ્યાં સુધી વાતને છૂપાવી શકાય ત્યાં સુધી છૂપાવી હતી. ત્યાર પછી ડૉક્ટરોની સલાહ લઈને સુરક્ષિત રહીને કામ ચાલુ રાખવાનો નિર્ણય લીધો હતો.
થોડાંક દિવસ પહેલાં પોટાલી કેમ્પના વિરોધમાં ગ્રામીણોના ઉગ્ર પ્રદર્શન દમરિયાન તેણે ત્યાં મોરચો સંભાળ્યો હતો. સુનૈના હાથમાં AK-47 લઈને અંદાજે 25 કિલોની સામાનથી ભરેલી બેગ પીઠ પર લટકાવી નકસલવાદીઓ સામનો કરવા જંગલો ખૂંદી રહી છે.
ડીઆરીજી ટીમના પ્રભારી ડીએસપી શિલ્પા સાહુએ જણાવ્યું હતું કે સુનૈનામાં કામનું ઝનૂન જોવા મળે છે. જ્યારે અમને પ્રેગ્નન્સીની ખબર પડી તો તેની હેલ્થને ધ્યાનમાં રાખી તેને નક્સલ ઓપરેશન પર મોકલવાનું બંધ કરી દીધું છે. જોકે સુનૈના હજી પણ ડ્યૂટી કરે છે.
દંતેવાડા એસપી ડૉ. અભિષેક પલ્લવે મીડિયાને જણાવ્યું હતું કે પહેલાં એક વખત જ્યારે સુનૈના પટેલ ફરજ બજાવતી હતી ત્યારે તેને ગર્ભપાત થયો હતો. તે બીજી વાર પ્રેગ્નન્ટ હોવા છતાં હજી પણ પોતાની ફરજથી ડગી નથી. તેણે ઘણી મહિલાઓ માટે પ્રેરણારૂપ ઉદાહરણ પૂરું પાડ્યું છે. જ્યારથી તેણે કમાન્ડર તરીકે ચાર્જ સંભાળ્યો છે, ત્યારથી અમારા બટાલીયનમાં મહિલા કમાન્ડોની સંખ્યા બેગણી ગણી થઈ ગઈ છે.
