મુંબઈ: 30 જૂને અભિનેત્રી મંદિરા બેદીના પતિ તથા પ્રોડ્યૂસર-ડિરેક્ટર રાજ કૌશલનું 49 વર્ષની ઉંમરે હાર્ટ અટેકને કારણે નિધન થયું હતું. પતિના આકસ્મિક નિધનથી પત્ની મંદિરા બેદી સાવ ભાંગી પડી હતી. પતિના મોતના 11 દિવસ બાદ મંદિરા બેદી આજે એટલે કે 11 જુલાઈએ પહેલી વાર ઘરની બહાર જોવા મળી હતી. ઘરની બહાર પહેલીવાર નિકળી હોય તેવી તસવીરો પણ સોશિયલ મીડિયામાં વાયરલ થઈ હતી.
રવિવાર, 11 જુલાઈએ અભિનેત્રી મંદિરા બેદી માતા સાથે રસ્તા પર ચાલતી જોવા મળી હતી. મંદિરાએ બ્લેક ટી શર્ટ પહેરી હતી. નોંધનીય છે કે, પતિનું નિધન થયું તે દિવસે પત્ની મંદિરા ધ્રુસકે-ધ્રુસકે રડી પડી હતી. ત્યારે તેને નજીકના લોકોએ સાચવી હતી.
મંદિરા બેદીએ પતિના મોતના પાંચ દિવસ બાદ સોશિયલ મીડિયામાં પોસ્ટ શેર કરી હતી. મંદિરાએ પતિ સાથેની ત્રણ તસવીર શેર કરી હતી. આ તસવીરમાં મંદિરા પતિ રાજ કૌશલ સાથે એકદમ ખુશ જોવા મળી હતી. તેણે આ તસવીરો સાથે કંઈ લખ્યું નહોતું. તેણે માત્ર તૂટેલા હાર્ટની ઈમોજી શેર કરી પોતાની લાગણી વ્યક્ત કરી હતી. આ પહેલાં મંદિરાએ પોતાના સોશિયલ મીડિયા અકાઉન્ટનો ડીપી ડિલિટ કરીને એને બ્લેક કર્યો હતો.
સામાન્ય રીતે પત્ની કોઈ દિવસ સ્મશાનમાં જતી હોતી નથી અને તે પતિની અર્થીને કાંધ પણ આપતી નથી. છતાં પણ મંદિરાએ આ પરંપરા તોડી પતિના અંતિમ સંસ્કારની વિધિ કરી હતી. રાજ કૌશલના અંતિમ સંસ્કાર સાડા અગિયારની આસપાસ દાદરના શિવાજી પાર્ક સ્મશાનમાં કરવામાં આવ્યા હતા. મંદિરા બેદીએ દોણી પકડી હતી અને પતિની અર્થીને કાંધ પણ આપી હતી.
