કોલકાત્તાઃ દેશમાં જલદી પહેલી વખત કોઈ નદીની અંદરથી મેટ્રો ટ્રેન પસાર થશે. કોલકાતાની હુગલી નદી નીચેથી 530 મીટર લાંબી અને લગભગ 30 મીટર ઊંડી ટનલ બનાવવામાં આવી રહી છે. નદી નીચેથી પસાર થતી આ ટનલે પાર કરવામાં મેટ્રોને અંદાજે 60 સેકન્ડનો સમય લાગશે. રેલમંત્રી પીયૂષ ગોયલે એક વીડિયો ટ્વીટ કરીને શેર કર્યો છે અને કહ્યું કે, જલદી આ ટ્રેન દોડશે.
પીયૂષ ગોયલે વીડિયો ટ્વીટ કરતા લખ્યું હતું કે, ભારતની પહેલી અંડર વોટર ટ્રેન જલદી કોલકાતામાં હુગલી નદી નીચે દોડશે. ઉત્કૃષ્ટ એન્જિનિયરિંગનું ઉદાહરણ આ ટ્રેન દેશમાં નિરંતર થઈ રહેલી રેલવેની પ્રગતિનું પ્રતિક છે. આ ટ્રેનથી કોલકાતા નિવાસીઓને સુવિધા અને દેશને ગર્વનો અનુભવ થશે.
