મુંબઈ: બોલિવૂડ અભિનેત્રી સન્ની લિયોની ફિલ્મ કરે કે ના કરે પરંતુ તે હંમેશા ચર્ચામાં રહેતી હોય છે. છેલ્લા ઘણાં વર્ષોમાં સન્ની લિયોનીની લોકપ્રિયતાની સાથે કમાણીમાં વધારો થયો છે. સન્ની લિયોની ફોર્બ્સ 2019ની ટોપ 100 સેલિબ્રિટીઝના લિસ્ટમાં સામેલ થઈ ગઈ છે જ્યારે ગયા વર્ષે 2018માં તેનું નામ લિસ્ટમાં નહોતું. 2.5 કરોડની કમાણીની સાથે સન્ની 48માં નંબર પર છે.

સ્કુલના દિવસોથી જ સન્ની લિયોની પૈસા કમાવવાની કોશિષ કરી રહી હતી. સન્નીનું સપનું હતું કે, તે નર્સ બને. તેના માટે તેણે મેડિકલ સાયન્સમાં અભ્યાસ કર્યો હતો. તે સમયે સન્નીને ટેક્સને લગતી પાર્ટ ટાઈમ નોકરી પણ કરી હતી. તેણે થોડા સમય માટે જર્મન બેકરીમાં પણ કામ કર્યું હતું. 19 વર્ષની ઉંમરથી સન્નીએ એડલ્ટ ફિલ્મોમાં કામ કરવાનું શરૂ કરી દીધું હતું.
બિઝનેસમાં રૂચીના કારણે સન્નીએ સ્ટોક માર્કેટ, મ્યુચ્યુઅલ ફંડ, રિયલ એસ્ટેટ અને રિર્ટાયરમેન્ટ ફંડમાં ઈન્વેસ્ટ કરી રાખ્યું છે. એક ઈન્ટરવ્યુમાં સન્ની લિયોનીએ કહ્યું હતું કે, અમેરિકામાં થોડા મ્યુચ્યુલ ફંડમાં મેં કમાણી કરી છે. મેં રિયલ એસ્ટેટમાં બહુ જ પૈસા લગાવ્યા છે. મને આ સૌથી વધુ સારું લાગે છે. હું એક મધ્યમવર્ગિય પરિવારમાં જન્મી છું. એટલે હું પૈસાનું મહત્વ બહુ સારી રીતે જાણું છું.
સન્ની લિયોનીએ પોતાના નામથી પરફ્યુમ પણ લોન્ચ કર્યું હતું જે ‘લસ્ટ’ નામથી ઓળખાય છે. આ સિવાય તેણે બોક્સ લીગ ક્રિકેટ ટીમ ‘ચેન્નઈ સ્વૈગર્સ’, ઓનલાઈન ગેમ તીનપત્તી વીથ સન્ની લિયોની અને ‘સ્વીટ ડ્રીમ્સ’માં પણ પૈસાની રોકણ કર્યું છે.
પરંતુ હાલ સ્ટાર્ટઅપ બિઝનેસમાં પૈસા રોકાણ કરવાનો સન્ની લિયોનીનો કોઈ જ ઈરાદો નથી. સન્નીને ભારતના રિયલ એસ્ટેટમાં પૈસા રોકવા બરાબર લાગતું નથી કારણ કે અહીં પૈસા પરત લેવા માટે ઘણી પ્રક્રિયામાંથી પસાર થવું પડે છે. ફિલ્મો અને જાહેરાત સિવાય સન્ની ટીવી પર પણ જોવા મળે છે. એમટીવી પર પ્રસારિત સન્નીનો શો ‘સ્પ્લિસ્ટવિલા’ યુવાનોની વચ્ચે બહુ જ ફેમસ છે.
