અયોધ્યાઃ ભવ્ય રામ મંદિરનો પાયો 5 હજાર વર્ષ સુધી ટકે તેવો રહેશે. આ માટે વૈજ્ઞાનિક પદ્ધતિએ નિર્માણ કાર્ય ચાલી રહ્યું છે. તેની સાત લેયર બનાવ્યા બાદ સંપૂર્ણ આરસીસી ક્ષેત્રને સમતળ કરવામા આવી રહ્યું છે. એક ફૂટ મોટી લિયર બિછાવી રોલરથી કોમ્પેક્ટ કરવામા 4-5 દિવસ લાગી રહ્યાં છે.
મંદિરના પાયાના નિર્માણનું કાર્ય 24 કલાક ચાલી રહ્યું છે. આ કાર્ય 12-12 કલાકની શિફ્ટમાં કરવામા આવી રહ્યું છે. લગભગ 1 લાખ 20 હજાર ઘન મીટર કાટમાળ નીકાળવામાં આવી ચૂક્યું છે. ઓગસ્ટ મહિના સુધી કામ પૂર્ણ થવાની આશા છે. દિવાલ સીધી કરવા જેટલી જમીનની જરૂર હતી, તે કામ થઈ ચૂક્યું છે. પશ્ચિમની દિવાલનો કોણ બરાબર કરવાનું કામ બાકી છે.
શ્રીરામજન્મભૂમિ તીર્થ ક્ષેત્ર ટ્રસ્ટના મહાસચિવ સંપત રાયે જણાવ્યું કે, મંદિરના વાસ્તુની જવાબદારી અમદાવાદના ચંદ્રકાંત સોમપુરા પર છે. તેઓ વર્ષ 1986થી મંદિર નિર્માણ માટે લાગેલા છે. એલ એન્ડ ટી કંપનીને મંદિર નિર્માણનું કામ સોંપવામા આવ્યું છે, નિર્માતા કંપનીના સલાહકાર તરીકે ટ્રસ્ટે ટાટા કન્સલ્ટિંગ એન્જિનિયર્સની પસંદગી કરી છે.
સંપૂર્ણ મંદિર પથ્થરોથી બનશે. મંદિર 3 માળનું રહેશે. દરેક માળની ઊંચાઈ 20 ફૂટ રહેશે. મંદિરની લંબાઈ 360 ફૂટ અને પહોળાઈ 235 ફૂટ છે. જમીન તળથી 16.5 ફૂટ ઊંચાઈ પર મંદિર બનશે. ભૂતળથી ગર્ભગૃહના શિખરની ઊંચાઈ 161 ફૂટ રહેશે.
પાયાના એક ઘન મીટર ક્ષેત્રમાં 2400 કિલોગ્રામ મટેરિયલ ભરવામા આવી રહ્યું છે. તેમાં સિમેન્ટનું પ્રમાણ માત્ર 2.5 ટકા છે. તેમાં પત્થર 10 મિ.મી. (769 કિલો), પથ્થર પાવડર (854 કિલો), પથ્થર કોલસાની રાખ (90 કિલો), થર્મલ પાવર સ્ટેશનથી મળેલ સિમેન્ટ (60 કિલો) અને પાણી (115 કિલો) નો ઉપયોગ કરવામા આવી રહ્યું છે.
પાયાની લંબાઈ 400 ફૂટ અને 300 ફૂટ પહોળાઈ છે. એક લેયર 12 ઈંચ મોટી બિછાવી રોલરથી દબાવવામાં આવે છે, જ્યારે લેયર 2 ઈંચ દબાઈ 10 ઈંચની થઈ જાય છે ત્યારે બીજી લેયર બિછાવવામાં આવે છે. આવી 44 લેયરની નીવ બનશે.
